Most engagements start with the Walkthrough. It tells us which of these is worth building, and it's fine if the answer is none of them.

Builds run from about $3,000 to $12,000 depending on the workflow. The Walkthrough ends with the exact number, and I size every build to pay for itself inside a year.

How pricing works
Every build is fixed scope: one workflow, with acceptance criteria written down before I start. The Walkthrough produces the price, and the price is not a commitment to build.
What moves the number
- How many systems are involved, and whether each one has an export or an API.
- How clean the data is. Matching records that almost agree takes longer than matching ones that do.
- How many exception paths need a person, and where approvals sit in the loop.
- Where it runs: your existing tools, a scheduled job, or something with a login.
- Whether you want me watching it after it ships. Ongoing support is priced separately.
Questions owners ask
- You're one person. What if you're not around?
- Everything I build lives in your accounts, not mine. The code is yours, the logins are yours, and every build ships with a plain-language doc that says what runs, when, and how to turn it off. Any contractor who works with these tools could pick it up from that doc. Being one person is also the point: you talk to the person who writes the code, and nothing waits on a project manager.
- What is the 30-day check, actually?
- Thirty days after the build goes live, I come back and look at three things: who is using it, what they're asking it to do, and what it got wrong. I fix what I can in that visit, and we compare the number we agreed on against what actually happened. If nobody is using it, that's my problem to solve, not a reason to send a reminder email.
- Do we need to be using AI already?
- No. A lot of the best fixes are plain integrations between systems you already pay for, with no AI in them at all. Where AI earns its place, like reading a vendor email or answering a question about your numbers, I'll say so. Where it doesn't, I'll say that too.
- Do you only work in Nashville?
- Nashville is home, so around Nashville I come to you: the store, the brewery, the back office. Everywhere else I work over video. The 30-minute call, the Walkthrough and the builds run the same way either way.
